Brian ( better known to his friends and fellow soldiers as "Kitt") was deployed in support of
Operation Iraqi Freedom
and attached to the 876th EN BN.
Brian was in Iraq October 13, 2005 - June 11, 2006.
He was wounded on March 23, 2006
but returned to duty shortly afterward.
Brian was in Iraq 237 days. By the Grace of God he
and the Sapper Platoon, stationed at Combat Outpost, Ramadi, Iraq all
returned Safely. Brian was awarded the Purple Heart June 2006.
These photos were taken by an embedded journalist during Brians tour of Iraq.
Following his deployment, Brian spent 15 months stationed at Ft. Dix, NJ. He returned to Civilian life September 2007.
